Originating in the Soviet Union in the early 1960’s, this sniper rifle was developed to extend the range of squads that were equipped with the AK-47. Snayperskaya Vinyovka Drugunov , Russian for Drugunov sniper rifle, was named after its lead designer. The SVD remains active today and is widely used by Soviet and Eastern European troops.

It has a metal magazine with a functioning magazine release, adjustable bipod, and a selector switch. It also includes 3 dummy rounds.
