This reproduction of saber of the Napoleonic French Horse Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard has a blade of tempered high carbon steel which is etched with the recreated manufactory markings of Klingenthal. The hilt is brass and the wood grip is overlaid in tight black leather with inlaid wire of spiralled brass. The scabbard is wood with a leather wrap and a casing of brass with a steel chape and steel hanging rings.
