The Maximillian Helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel and has a well-articulated visor and side plates that open to allow for them to be fitted around the head. A pin secures these side plates closed when they are placed onto it. The interior of the helmet is blackened and unlined - included is separate padded cotton arming cap.
