The Maximilian gauntlets are constructed from riveted plates of 16 gauge steel. The interior of these well articulated gauntlets is blackened and are fitted with an integrated suede leather glove, which is affixed to the inner thumb, but is left free to move within the rest of the gauntlet.

These gauntlets have a tendency to shift forward with use due to only having a single finger strap. By riveting the glove fingers to the gauntlet or by adding additional straps (preferably straps with buckles) an individualized fit for this gauntlet can be made to your hand.
