This reproduction of an Imperial German Navy saber has a tempered high carbon steel blade which is solidly mounted into a hilt of brass. The brass guard has two hinged plates which allow for the sword to be worn comfortably close which is ideal for the tight confines of a ship. The plates can flip back out into a ready position when the time has come for a naval action.


The wood grip is wrapped in black leather and completed with twisted brass wire. The scabbard is leather with brass fittings and brass hanging rings.
