This is a reproduction of the German Naval Officer’s sword which was used both World Wars and continues to be used in the present day; it was first adopted by the German Navy in 1890. The blade is tempered high carbon steel which is stoutly mounted into a hilt of brass complete with a double-folding guard for ease of carry and wear. The grip is faux ivory with brass wire and the sword is completed with a black leather scabbard with brass fittings and brass hanging rings.
