Presenting the Kolser X Series Long Mare’s Leg rifle. The Mare’s leg originated on the television series Wanted: Dead or Alive (1958-1961). This customized Winchester rifle was carried by the iconic Steve McQueen. Today, the term “Mare’s leg is more of a generic description of any Model 1892 rifle that has a shortened barrel and stock.
Unlike any other replica rifle on the market X Series rifles have a re-loadable chamber and a shell ejection system that make the experience as realistic as possible. Made from Zamak and a high-density resin that looks and feels like real wood, this Mare’s Leg rifle is 26 inches long, has a pewter finish, and comes with dummy shells designed specifically for the X Series rifles.
