Full Visor Bascinet

This Bascinet is crafted from robust 14 gauge steel and is fitted with an encompassing visor which is hinged and can swivel upwards. When closed an integrated pressure catch pin secures the helmet shut - it can be released by pressing upon a longer side button to unlock the visor. The visor is attached to the bascinet with pins through side hinges - removing these pins will entirely remove the visor if desired. The visor does not stay upright on its own when swiveled open.

The blackened interior of the helmet is fitted with an internal padded suspension system which can be adjusted to best fit the head. The edge of the helmet is lined with vervelle eyelets which can be used to lace and attach your own chainmail aventail or collar to create a complete defense for the head, neck and collar. The plate on the back of the helmet can be used to retain your own helmet plume.
