Gladiator Short Sword

This Gladiator Short Sword is designed to be paired with a large shield to allow the gladiator to get into a close and confined melee - ideal for a short and very quick stabbing blade. The blade of this example is forged from high carbon steel and it is securely mounted into a hilt with a brass guard and pommel. The grip is wood which has been tightly bound in red leather.

Included with the sword is a wooden scabbard which is overlaid in red leather and completed with detailed brass embellishment and brass hanging rings for wear.
