Not only is the blade made from Damascus but the guard just above the handle is as well and it mimics the same design accentuating the simple wooden handle. The wooden handle has been polished and contoured for comfort with a brass pipe near the end. To protect your blade when not in use is a hand stitched leather sheath with a belt loop and place to house a sharpening stone.
